Henry Bowers house

This beautifully restored home was built by Henry Bowers in the years before the American Revolution. Henry was a wealthy ship owner and merchant who is credited with laying out Main Street in the 1760's. Photo taken by Julia Angelini as part of the Envisioning Somerset project
